Mulligan’s Hollow:
Thanks to your membership dues, LPC has contracted with Court Menders out of Rockford Michigan to repair the cracks on the courts at Mulligan’s Hollow. The repair project should be taking place in the next few weeks, and members will receive a notice of the exact date as soon as we get that information from Court Menders. We expect the courts to be closed for 2-3 days while repairs are being made.
The June Ladder Leagues will be starting the first week in June, and there are a few openings left in the Monday night 3.0, Wednesday night 3.5, and Thursday night 4.0+ ladders. Contact Chip Gilbertson obg613@gmail.com to sign up, and please include your phone number! Thank you for the generous paddle donations! These paddles will be used by new players who attend our Tuesday night Intro to Pickleball classes, the NORA After School Pickleball classes for kids, and anyone who needs to borrow a paddle while at Mulligan’s Hollow. We are very appreciative of these “new” paddles and will put them to good use!
Tournaments:
Mark your calendars: The Annual Coast Guard Tournament Age 50+ Mixed Doubles Pickleball Tournament will take place on July 31, 2024 at Mulligan’s Hollow. Online registration for this tournament will open on June 1, and will be found on our club website http://lakeshorepickleball.com This tournament does not require LPC membership!
The 2024 Club Classic Members Tournament will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 21 and 22, and will include Men’s and Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles. More information will be sent before registration opening in August. This tournament is for LPC members only!
