There are many pickleball venues in the Lakeshore area but it can be a challenge to know where to play on a given day. Listed below is a compilation of the many venues available for pickleball. Some of these are seasonal and of course the weather can be a factor as well.

The schedules listed are subject to change. For specific questions, please contact the venue.

1. Mulligan’s Hollow 30 Sherman Street, Grand Haven, MI

There are six dedicated outdoor courts & four portable nets that can be used on the tennis courts when they aren’t being used for tennis. We consider this our club’s “home court”. It’s sheltered in a bowl and has close proximity to the channel and Lake Michigan. No water on site and you will have to make do with a porta-potty.
Drop-in play (share the courts): 8-11 am, daily.
Open play (first-come, first-served can stay on their court): after 11 am.

2. Central Park 808 Central Park Ave, Spring Lake, MI

This village park has eight courts, each with separate fencing for errant ball control. Very close to the pavilion with restrooms and water.
Drop-in play: 8:30 to 11 am, daily.

3. Schmidt Heritage Park 15704 Ferris Street, Grand Haven,MI

Twelve outdoor courts. The schedule for play is posted at the courts.

Four outdoor courts with lights. No fences.

Three new courts.

Three outdoor courts.

7. Roosevelt Park 3106 Roosevelt Rd, Muskegon, MI

Public park with four courts and a practice wall. Restroom facilities and water are available.

Four public courts and a practice wall.

Four public courts.

4. White Pines Intermediate School

  •  All Levels, Drop In Play, 3 Courts
  • $5 fee can pay in advance: norarec.org or $5 can be placed in payment box in gym
  • JANUARY START: Sunday drop-in play 2:30-5:30pm.

5. Christian Reformed Conference Grounds
12253 Lakeshore Drive, Grand Haven

  • All Levels, Drop In Play 3 indoor courts with a vinyl gym floor.
  • $5 Daytime and $10 Thursday evening
  • Monday – Friday: 9-11 am Noon-2 pm
  • Thursday: 6-8 pm

  • 6 indoor courts can be expanded to 9 courts.
  • $3. Free for SportHouse members.
  • Monday, Tuesday, Friday:  5 am – 12pm & 4:30 pm – 9:00 pm

7. Lakeshore Sports Centre

  • All Levels – Drop In Play, 3 Courts
  • $5 drop-in Mon 3:30-5:30pm
  • Tuesday 9am-12pm and 3:30-5:30pm
  • Thursday 3:30-5:30pm
  • Fri/Sat/Sun 9am-12pm $25 for 1.5 hour reservations.
  • Court reservations are available at non-drop-in times on their website.

8. Calvin Christian Reformed Church

  • 3 Courts, $3 donation is requested
  • M&T 9-11am Beginner/Intermediate (all year)
  • M&T 12-3pm Advanced (Nov-May)

9. Anchor Point Bible Church

  •  Mostly intermediate, but sampling of all levels.
  • 3 courts $3 suggested donation
  • Wednesdays 10am-12pm Thursdays 12-2pm

10. Muskegon First Lutheran Church

  • 2 Courts
  • Tuesday & Wednesday 9 am and 11am
  • A donation is suggested – there is a jar.

11. MSA Lakeshore in Holland

  • UPDATED: week of October 28th
  • All Levels – Drop In Play, 6 Courts year round
  • Monday-Friday: 8:30-11:00 am $5 for MSA members, $10 for non-members.
  • A 12-month membership – $39.
  • Courts can be rented for $25 per hour.

  • Levels 3.5 and higher: 3pm-6pm, Saturdays
  • Levels 3.4 and below: 6pm-9pm, Saturdays
    Self-pay with Venmo (SportsQuest) or Dropbox in office on the left-hand side of wall or pay the attendee.
    Cost: M$5/NM$10 – Membership $60 for 6 months.
