Our club currently rents the CRCG gym every Thursday evening from 6-8:00 pm for drop-in play.
Attendance during this time slot has been low, and the current player fee of $6/person falls far short of covering the cost of the $100/night gym rental. Our club is losing a significant amount of money due to a lack of players during this time slot. We need more players to continue renting the CRCG gym on Thursday nights!
We will offer the next two Thursday evenings (Jan 18 and 25) at the current player fee of $6, but starting February 1, the cost to play on Thursday evenings will increase to $10/person.
The LPC board of directors wants to continue to provide Thursday evenings for our members and the pickleball community if there is interest demonstrated by an increase in attendance, but if February attendance during this time slot is still low, the club will no longer be able to fund Thursday nights at CRCG.
