Good afternoon LPC Members
We are approaching the deadlines for the LPC Classic. The last day to sign up and receive a shirt is August 23rd and the last date for LATE registration is September 8th.
The move to pickleball brackets for the first time was done to simplify the process of running a tournament. Having said that, change brings questions. A common one is the bracket breakdown. The bracket choices were done using the demographics of last year’s players.
Another common question is why so few brackets. We have limited court and time bandwidth to get this done in a weekend.
Finally, how are waiting lists handled? Please utilize the waiting list if you are considering playing. We will use every effort to make sure EVERYONE plays. So, do not treat the waiting list as a closed opportunity. Your Committee Directors will find a way if at all possible. Please keep in mind, based on sign up we may have to adjust brackets and times. Playing time and bracket finalization will come out closer to the tournament date.
